| 西班牙 Bodegas y Viñedos Alion 簡介。
Bodegas y Viñedos Alion 第一個生產的年份是 1991 年，由西班牙著名酒莊 Vega Sicilia 的設立，釀酒師是該酒莊的 Javier Ausas。
採用的葡萄品種是百分之一百的 Tempranillo，釀造的風格和哲學迥然不同於適合長期陳年的 Vega Sicilia。本酒的培養採用法國 Nervers 地區的全新橡木桶，從釀造到裝瓶約三年的時間。
Alion 是一款適合淺齡飲用，亦可期待十年之後變化的新世界型態酒款。

座落 Ribera de Duero DO 產區的中心，靠近 Penafiel。葡萄除了來自酒廠的周圍以外，還有 Vega Sicilia 的 "Valbuena"。

100 公頃。18 公頃為 Alion 所有，其餘的來自 Vega Sicilia。

Douro 河的沖積產物、花崗岩、及表層富含礦物質的鈣質土。

釀造與培養
不像 Vega Sicilia，Alion 所採用的是結合了現代科技與傳統的釀造方法，如同近來一些波爾多列級酒莊所採用的，使用最先進的釀酒設備與大量的新橡木桶培養。酒精發酵與乳酸發酵都先在不銹鋼酒槽進行，採收隔年的一月才移轉到來自法國 Nervers 森林的全新橡木桶進行為期 12-14 個月的培養。裝瓶之後還要進行一年的陳年才會上市。

Balanced and intense, this generous red offers cassis, plum, chocolate and toast flavours, with ripe tannins and a clean finish. It has enough concentration to age and enough grace to be delicious now. Drink now through 2008.

Both [Reviewing 1996 & 1995 Alion] these beautifully made Spanish reds represent a more modern approach to winemaking. Sweet toasty oak competes with jammy black cherry and berry fruit in these deep, low acid offerings. Both wines possess excellent to outstanding concentration, top flight purity, and overall equilibrium. There is more length to the 1996, but that is splitting hairs. Drink these impressively-endowed Ribera del Dueros over the next 10-12 years.
